I enjoy working with people and have a true passion for travel. As a group leader, in the 1990's, I escorted families and friends on many group cruises. In 2000, I started working part-time as an outside sales agent to learn more about travel. During this time I earned my Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) designation from CLIA. The steps to become an MCC provided a wealth of cruise knowledge through required course instruction, ship inspections and sailings on board a variety of cruise ships (yes, another "difficult" task). Ongoing first-hand knowledge and experience of all the cruise lines are so valuable and are passed along to each and every one of my clients. In addition, I hold numerous specialist designations from cruise lines, destinations and suppliers. I strive to be educated to better provide excellent recommendations to my clients for a wonderful vacation!
In 2003, after 25 years of employment in a corporate position, I decided I wanted to take an early retirement and began working as a full time group travel coordinator for AAA, later worked as an outside sales travel agent before creating Kirkwood Travel in 2007. As the owner and Travel Agent of Kirkwood Travel, I want to provide personalized attention, professional travel planning services and quality customer service to my clients. I specialize in leisure travel, with my niche in group cruises and all inclusive vacations. Let me help you plan your next vacation!  Malcolm Khan I support and help Hema with her travel business.
